The first phase of our expansion plan is to increase our client services team. We'll be doing this both by recruiting directly but also working in partnership with railway engineering consultants.

Job Title: Client Consultancy Team - Help us provide services that technicians and engineers use to ensure that railway passengers enjoy safe and reliable transportation. Our innovative technology uses Excel to create web applications to support engineering systems.

Office location: Very close to Leeds City Rail Station - Platform Building, New Station Street, Leeds, West Yorkshire LS1 4JB. It is also possible to work from home by arrangement with your manager.

Essential Skills: • Good degree in an engineering discipline • Good grasp of Maths to at least ‘A’ level standard. • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel. • Good communication skills as the role is client facing.
Desirable Skills: • Knowledge of web technologies. • Interest in railway industry.

Preparation for interview: • Please bring a long samples of your most demanding work with Excel.

Responsibilities and Career Development: • Intensive training to learn our technology. • Use Excel to create client web applications under the guidance of a team leader. • Administration of Client websites under the guidance of a team leader. • Attending client meetings with a team leader. • Within 3 months you should be creating railway support services on your own. • Within 6 months you should be liaising with clients on your own. • Within 12 months you may be leading and teaching others. This may involve leading training courses at client sites. • By then you should be aspiring to becoming a team leader yourself and taking a more responsible position in our rapidly expanding organisation.
